How Facial Emotional Expressions Affect Age Perception via Cosmetics & Toiletries

Emotions are human states that have measurable behavioral, cognitive and physiological consequences. The emotional response to a stimulus has two stages: a primary sensory-motor response that is outside of awareness (bodily response); and a secondary process of awareness of one’s own emotional experience.

Emotions play a central role in the lives of human beings. They are much more than chemical reactions or automatic responses since they provide valuable information about the self, interactions with other people and the environment.
